Sharing music by listening to it… together
Hummus Records has developed a very singular habit : inviting people to listen to a record or two together in record shops and galleries.
It’s always moving to stand or sit together in a small room, facing a record player and listening to the same tune together at the same time, in presence of the artists. Sometimes a band will play on top of that a minimal acoustic-like version of a set, sometimes not even. The artists talk a bit, present their work, tell some anecdotes, then play the record. Together we share music in its simplest form.
